This Hystudian Olympic team is considered one of the best there have been of all time. All of them have inspired the people of Hystud to feel Patriotic about their nation. In addition, other countries now respect the prowess of the Hystudian Athletes.

King Jakav is touring England, and has been enjoying his stay. Prymyrav Jymav Dobryt is staying at his summer home in Jsemfjepot.

The medal count for Hystud is now 22 Gold, 34 Silver and 32 Bronze. This is by far the most successful Hystud has ever been in a Summer Olympics. Also, Hystudian men won gold in Football, the third gold in that sport. Hystud is expected to do well in the World Cup in 2 years.

King Jakav met with Queen Elizabeth II today in a cordial meeting between the two nations. Vujud Jakav said that he hoped the two nations could continue to cooperate for the benefit of all citizens of the two countries.

Another outstanding day in Olympics as Hystudians take 6 gold medals overall. Hystud won Gold in Men's 50k walk, and also gold in Women's Javelin Throw, with a new Olympic record of 73.8 Meters. Hystud also won gold in the Men's Pole Vault. Following on the Men's success, women won gold in the Modern Pentathlon. The other two golds for the day were in Sychronised Swimming and in the equestrian Indivdual Jumping event .

Njankavjav Dobryt's funeral is today.

A good day in the Olymics for Hystud today, as Hystud wins gold and silver in the Men's modern Pentathalon and Gold and bronze in the Men's Triathalon. Hystudian Athlete's also won bronze in women's water polo, which was worse than expected. Hystudian men also won the Mixed Open Double-handed Dinghy 49er category of sailing, and they also got silver in that event.

Prymyrav Jymav Dobryt has denied allegations of embezzlement, but has taken a temporary leave of absence, leaving the Deputy Prymyrav in his position.

In the Olympics, Hystud wins the silver in the men's Mistral-class sailing today. Hystud's Mayan Hyvyt won the women's gold, her 4th gold medal in as many olympics. She won her first in Barcelona, 1992. She is expected to sign several endorsements for Sports products.

The Mynav is making excelent progress on the budget, but some groups are unhappy with the changes that cut funding from Environmental Protection spending. This was done so that Education could continue to be funded.

The Hystudian Olympic Soccer team has beat Iraq 3-1 in the semifinals, thus advancing the team to the Gold Medal Match Saturday at Olympic Stadium in Athens. If they win, this will be the third Gold that Hystud has ever won in the Olympic Soccer Tournament, and will be a great victory for Hystud.

In other news, it seems that more and more young Hystudians are not getting married. The study was released by the University of Dakjav. It shows that Hystudians age 22-30 have only a 59 % marriage rate, which is down 4% since last year. This trend is similar in all European Countries.

It has just been announced today that Vujud Jakav will be traveling to the Olympic Closing ceremonies this coming Saturday. He will be going to congratulate the Hystudian Medal Winners and to meet with the Greek Prime Minister to discuss international involvement and trade agreements.

In the ongoing Budget Scandal, Prymyrav Jymav Dobryt has been summoned to court on August 25th to discuss his involvement with the bribery scandal. He is expected to deny his involvement with the Budgetary Committee and others in the scandal.

In the Olympics today, the Hystudian Men's Team Epee side has taken the Gold, a position that they have held since 1984. The Hystudian Men's Epee Team has been the favorite since then, and has not disappointed since.

King Jymav Dobryt held a press conference today from his personal stables in Dyjav. During this press conference, he expressed extreme disdain toward the indicted Mynavjav and the other Makjavav that were accused of bribery and corruption.

The Vujud also extended a congratulatory statement to all of the Hystudian Olympians, and wished them luck in their continued struggle for glory.

The Mynav have passed 4 parts of the budget. This has happened at an incredible speed. Members of the other houses plan to requisition the budget for examination, as is usually the case with the budget. Hystudian citizens are showing some concern over the scandal in the government, especially as the last year's of King Ajendav II's reign had similar scandals, and his rule ended with communism taking over Hystud for 12 years.

On a brighter note, Hystud has a runner in the semifinals of the 1oo meter dash and the 400 meter, the first since 1980.

Prymyrav Jymav Dobryt has declared that he was not involved with any bribery scandal. This comes after yesterday's accusation found in his brother's suicide letter. When asked how he felt about his brother's suicide, he replied: "all needless death is a waste of human life."

In Athens, the Hystudian Olympic team is having more success than it has ever had in a Summer Olympics. Hystud has so far won 7 gold medals, 10 silver medals, and 16 bronze medals. The King gave a statement saying, "congratulations!"

In a shocking turn of events, Njakavjav Dymjav Dobryt has committed suicide. Mr. Dobryt was the brother of Prymyrav Jymav Dobryt, and was suspended a week ago in connection with the accusations of bribery. A suicide note was found that declared that he was indeed part of a scandal. If the note is valid, the scandal could be more widespread than originally believed.

In Olympic competition, Akjav Mynanyt has won the 100+ kg judo gold medal.

The Mynav's Budgetary Committee has been testifying for the last few days. Solicitor General Vyjav Akjytmav has reviewed evidence and is expected to declare a criminal trial immediately following the preliminary hearing. Meanwhile, the Mynav has decided to devote all available resources to complete the Budgeting process. To do this, they have voted to bypass the Commitee stage and move directly to the consideration of the Full Mynav.

Five Hystudian soldiers were killed today in Iraq. They were killed when a car bomb exploded in front of a small restaurant in Baghdad. They are only the most recent deaths in the embattled country.

The fighting in Najaf continues, despite Moktada al-Sadr's pledge to surrender the mosque, causing the wounding of two Hystudian Ishjana (marines). Hystudian casualties have amounted to 3 wounded soldiers.

In the Olympics, Hystudian Vjanyt Dajavytka took the silver in dressage. The Hystudian men's Olympic Archery team took the bronze, the first medal for Hystud in an archery event. The Hystudian's took gold for the third straight Olympics in Yngling class sailing.

The Hystudian Olympic team has placed 3rd in Football, narrowly beating out Greece for a 3-2 win. Hystudians across the nation are celebrating this victory.

A new study released by the University of Jsemfjepot shows that crime in Hystud is generally on a down turn. Crime rates have dropped 3 percent since last year, particularly the armed robberies. Prymyrav Jymav Dobryt claims this is a victory for the new Anti-crime public awareness campaign.

King Jakav travels to Gyjapot today to give another speech about his belief in the war in Iraq. Communist Party supporters and protesters pelted the King's car with apples, despite the best efforts of the Gyjapot police. While there, he met with some tech business CEO's on a private boat. It is not known what was said.

The fighting in Iraq continues, but Hystudian troops have managed to subdue the violence in their areas of occupation. It is not known when, but suspected that Prymyrav Jymav Dobryt may meet with the Interim Prime Minister in Iraq.

The first hearing on the Budgetary Commission is today. Solicitor General Vyjav Akjytmav had the following to say: "The Budgetary Commission has violated its sacred pledge. It was to do its duty, but it did not. It did not matter that they worked for the people. Rather, all that mattered was that they serve themselves." When asked how much the Mynavjav were bribed, the Solicitor General replied "a lot."

King Jakav made a visit to the city of Nujankud today in an attempt to garner support for his actions in the Middle East. He plans to visit 12 major cities in Western Hystud, traditionally the home of the Communist Party. It is thought that the protests against the war are due to resentment towards the King rather than actually despising the war.

A representative from the Office of Prymyrav Jymav Dobryt declared today in a press conference that Prymyrav Dobryt has officially condemned the Budgetary Commission's actions and that he will introduce a new bill into the Mynav that will establish more accountability.

With the Budgetary Commission suspended, and their due date looming closer, some members of the Mynav have called for a vote to establish a new commission, one that might get the job done by the date of December 1st.

Meanwhile, King Jakav is travelling to Shyvan to discuss the rising crime rate in that city. The King is expected to speak there about the necessity of cooperation in the domestic sector. The King goes to visit with Queen Elizabeth II of England in 2 weeks.

Hystudian Solicitor General Vyav Akjytmav has obtained a subpoena to call forth the members of the Hystudian Budgetary Commission to testify at trial. This comes from the recent suspension of the Mynavjav's who were on the Commission. Two other members of the Makjav, Onujavav Mydyt Kjavjav and Njankav Dymjav Dobryt were also suspended.
